PUERTO RICO: SAN FELIPE DEL MORRO FORTRESS
Wayne and I just got back from an amazing trip to Puerto Rico! Here are photos from our day visiting one of the giant Forts on the coast of San Juan that was built in the 16th century. I loved being able to explore the structure and read about the history of the fort and the island, not to mention this place made for some cool photos. I will (most likely) have many more posts about this trip so I apologize in advance and a vlog if I can get through my endless footage. **Side

HAPPY EASTER IN SPRING FLORALS
I hope everyone had a great Easter! Wayne and I are about to leave on a vacation! Woot woot! But I wanted to quickly post this outfit post before our trip. These photos are from last Wednesday when my sister, Danica and I went out for lunch. Spring was really in the air and I wanted to dress for the occasion. Plus it felt good to get my limbs out there for some Vitamin D while we walked around the Via Lido district in Newport Beach. What I'm Wearing Blouse: Zara Denim Shorts:

POPPIES
Last week we went where no blogger has gone before. Wait, that's not right...where every blogger has gone before, to see the super bloom of poppies at Lake Elsinore. Kind of annoying, I know but I love flowers and I had to see it for myself. It is about an hour drive for us and it was worth the travel. The flowers were beautiful, thank you California rain. I was not expecting a hike so I was not dressed for the occasion but it wasn't too strenuous. We actually got there just

DUBAI PART IV: SHOOT DAY
On our third day in Dubai, the guys had a big shoot. Can't say much about that or show most of the photos I took of the day but I can show you my outfit. Lucky you ;) I believe we were in the Dubai Design District (I am not certain). In the area, there were super cool boutiques and cafes. I picked up a burgundy mens hat for myself, which was soon dubbed my "Lady Gaga Hat." I see it now. And Wayne found some great stage clothes for future tours. We also ate lunch at a deliciou

DUBAI PART III: ATLANTIS WATER PARK
The first thing we did in Dubai was hit up the marine and water park at Atlantis The Palm. I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty reluctant. Waterparks are not usually my thing. Ok, they are never my thing. But when I heard this one was on a manmade island that's shaped like a palm tree (bird's eye view below), I was intrigued. It turned out to be a really fun experience. Not only was it a water park but it was part aquarium which is right up my alley because in my heart I'm a wanna

LAGUNA BEACH AND MY NEW FAVORITE SWEATER
Wayne and I went on a great day date this week wherein we ate our body weight in pasta and then went on a quick drive down Pacific Coast Highway to Laguna Beach. I think Laguna might be my favorite city in Southern California. The views are amazing and there always seems to be something artsy going on. We only had a short time for our date so we went on a little stroll above the cliffs and then grabbed coffee for the ride home. It was a combination of many of my favorite thin

ONE DRESS TWO WAYS
Yesterday, we held my baby sister, Cassidy's bridal shower at my house. We were so busy running around that I didn't get as many photos as I'd like but I will try and put what I have together for a post. For now, here is the dress I wore. It is from a company called Do + Be. I was just going to wear something I had in my closet but Wayne and I saw it in the window of a boutique while we were out getting lunch and it seemed perfect for the occasion. I loved that I could wear i

A CARDIGAN, BIG EARRINGS & LEOPARD BOOTIES, OH MY!
On Friday, I went to Fashion Island with my mom, sister, my cousin, her sweet baby girl and little River-cat (Wolfie was home napping). We grabbed lunch, coffee and macaroons and spent a couple hours walking around in the fresh air with the kiddos. For clothes, I went for something comfortable and casual but with a little flair. I started with these Matisse booties. I always get compliments on them, they are comfortable and add a bit of a pop to whatever you wear. I paired th

A CAUTIONARY TALE: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME
So....not only did I wear this outfit but I took photos in it and now I'm posting it. I love an oversized sweater or sweatshirt. I especially love to pair them with an extra tall boot or thigh high sock; HOWEVER, in this instance it is all wrong! The gap between the top of the boot and the bottom of the sweatshirt should be 1-2 inches not half a foot! *palm to forehead. I am wearing leather shorts but you can't see them so I look I forgot my bottoms. Serves me right for not l
