A CARDIGAN, BIG EARRINGS & LEOPARD BOOTIES, OH MY!

On Friday, I went to Fashion Island with my mom, sister, my cousin, her sweet baby girl and little River-cat (Wolfie was home napping). We grabbed lunch, coffee and macaroons and spent a couple hours walking around in the fresh air with the kiddos.

For clothes, I went for something comfortable and casual but with a little flair. I started with these Matisse booties. I always get compliments on them, they are comfortable and add a bit of a pop to whatever you wear. I paired them with a forrest green tight, fine knit cardigan, my go-to mom jeans and some big, dangly gold earrings. I got these earrings at Saks Off Fifth last minute before the TRF Gala but I felt like they were a little too dramatic with my hair pulled up. I have never been one for statement earrings, I am pretty minimal with jewelry in general, but I have been loving seeing girls with shoulder-length hair wear earrings that are about the same length. Kind of like peek-a-boo sparkle. So I am giving that a try.
