THAILAND: TEMPLE IN CHIANG MAI
We were lucky enough to visit several Buddhist temples during our stay in Thailand. This is the first temple saw in Chiang Mai and it's called Wat Chedi Luang. The temple's construction began in the 14th Century and after 10 years of construction was left unfinished until the mid 15th century. After substantial earthquake damage, the structure was completed in the 1990s.
While at the temple, we were able to sit in on a monk chant and walk around the grounds at dusk. It was a magical start to our vacation.
