POPPIES
Last week we went where no blogger has gone before. Wait, that's not right...where every blogger has gone before, to see the super bloom of poppies at Lake Elsinore. Kind of annoying, I know but I love flowers and I had to see it for myself. It is about an hour drive for us and it was worth the travel. The flowers were beautiful, thank you California rain. I was not expecting a hike so I was not dressed for the occasion but it wasn't too strenuous. We actually got there just as Wayne had to do two work conference calls so he took a lot of these while he was on the phone which I think is pretty impressive.
