LAGUNA WITH THE GIRLS
This is the second Friday in a row that I have driven down to Laguna with my mom and sisters. I have always had a soft spot for the town but lately I feel like it has my heart. I have traveled to a lot of cities but there are only a few that really feel like "me" and Laguna is one of them. Last week we went on a beach walk, but this week we decided to stroll around downtown and grab lunch. The first store we went to was LF Laguna. I had never heard of it, but my sister, Danic

TAN SWEATSUIT
I'm all about comfort. This short sweatsuit is already in constant rotation, it is the perfect thing to throw on for a morning of laundry and baby wrestling and an afternoon of digging in the sand at the beach. Bring on summer! What I'm Wearing Sweatsuit: Urban Outfitters (Shorts + Shirt) On Sale! Earrings: Anthropologie #fashion #costamesa #california #goldenthreads

BLUSH HEELS & MY FAVORITE JEANS
This outfit started with this blush pair of heels. I got them for my sister's wedding to go with my bridesmaids dress and while I most likely won't wear the dress again, I wanted to make sure to get good use out of the shoes. They aren't a ridiculous height, are pretty comfortable and a perfect spring/summer color so I am going to try and wear them with as much as I can. As for the the rest of the look, I am a 'Plain Jane' at heart so I went with my go-to grey t-shirt and den

BEACH DAZE
Loving this warm weather we have been having! I am so excited to basically live at the beach this summer with the boys. I wore this top to KROQ's Weenie Roast this weekend and I think it will be a staple in my summer wardrobe. I have an obsession with apron shirts/dresses and this is my first one! I got these shorts at Zara for our trip to Puerto Rico, thinking they were perfect for throwing on over a swimsuit...HOWEVER, if I were you, I would get a less "distressed" pair bec

CASUAL TUESDAY
Grabbed lunch with my bae today at my FAVORITE sandwich place, Sessions. It is seriously so good. Get the "Yogi" and the house chips and thank me later. I am trying to get back into my exercise/healthy eating routine after all of these trips. I took a hot yoga class yesterday and did a weight training session today and hopefully I can work on the "healthy eating" as the week progresses but at least my sandwich had a lot of veggies. Maybe it made up for my pop tarts for break

PUERTO RICO: OLD SAN JUAN
I wish I lived in a colorful town like old San Juan. The buildings are painted in pastels and you can see pops of the ocean through alleyways. I really enjoyed our afternoon strolling up and down the streets. We popped into a custom Panama hat shop that our friend, Turner had researched and I got one of those but other than that, we just took in the charm San Juan as we walked, which is my favorite way to get to know a city when I have very little time. What I'm Wearing Sungl

PUERTO RICO: RED & PINK
I've been trying to edit a vlog of our Puerto Rico trip the last couple days which will hopefully be up soon! For now, here is another outfit post from one of our relaxing beach afternoons on the island. PUERTO RICO: BEACH DAY
OK, OK so we may live 2 minutes from the beach in California but I loved the idea of going on this vacation to the much warmer Atlantic waters, to be able to put my feet up, drink a refreshing drink with sugar on the rim and not having to worry about my two adorable monsters crawling through some kid's sand castle (I love you, boys). Unfortunately, the water wasn't turquoise blue like it normally is because of a river runoff due to all the rain but it was still a great temper

PUERTO RICO: RAINFOREST
On one of our days in Puerto Rico, Turner, Wayne and I rented a jeep and drove up to the El Yunque Rainforest. We parked and went for an hour hike to see one of the waterfalls. It was a beautiful and relaxing walk with gorgeous views and great company. We didn't get in the water because it was FULL of fellow tourists but we did stop and get smoothies on the drive back which made up for me not being able to be a mermaid for the afternoon. ^^I am a shocking uncoordinated hiker/
