PHO-N AT THE BEACH
Wayne and I went for lunch at our favorite Vietnamese spot, Saigon Beach located on the Balboa Peninsula. They put a spin on some of the more traditional dishes. I usually get a banh mi sandwich that you can dip into a small bowl of pho broth, their version of a french dip. It's divine. They also have Pho puns written all over their walls so I thought I would honor them with my post title;) After we ate, we went for a quick very chilly walk on the beach. I love the beach in winter. The sea air is fresh and crisp and no one expects you wear a bikini.
And if you were wondering...yes, I am wearing a fanny pack. I love them and wear them all the time.
