SHOULDER PADS FOR DAYS

Well, it may be obvious from these photos but one of my favorite movies is Working Girl (here is advice from the movie that is still applicable today). I think playing with shape and volume with an outfit can be really fun and while I don't think I always have the right body type to do that (#shortgirlproblems), sometimes you just have to go for it. On this particularly gloomy day, I paired this oversized, cropped blazer from Stylenanda with a simple camisole, my Levis and my favorite Gucci mules. Stylenanda is a Korean style clothing shop that ships internationally. It is affordable, fashion forward and I am currently loving the whole vibe of Korean street style right now.

Side note: I am writing this post while people are testing out their fireworks outside before the 4th. And let me just tell you, parents of babies and dog owners you will get me, fireworks are so stressful! Every time I hear a loud set go off, my heart races as I wait to hear if one of my kids has woken up. They haven't yet but I know it will happen one of these times.
