SMOKE+MIRRORS N.A. TOUR: ST. LOUIS
St. Louis made for a fun day off. We started out with a long walk to a delicious brunch spot called Rooster, followed by an afternoon at the City Museum which was no ordinary discovery museum. Even as an adult, there was so much to do on each of the 11 floors, my favorite being the one filled with intricate passage ways, caves and tunnels. I wish I got more photos inside but I must have been too distracted. We stopped off in a room with spinning chairs (photographed above). We then went up to the roof to find a ferris wheel, slide and a bus hanging off the top of building. To get back to the lobby, we took a slide from the top floor all the way down. I hope that we are able to go again when the kids are older because this place was incredible.
Before sunset, the four amigos of this tour (Turner, Marilyn, River and I) went down to check out the arch and it was pretty spectacular. River also got fresh with Marilyn and it was a big highlight for me. **Documented above
Also, cheers to my terrible hair day.
